Countdown:

T minus 12 hours to Las Vegas…..T minus two weeks to London. I am so lucky to be able to travel to all these great places around the world! It’ll be my third time in Vegas this year, probably 30th time-ish ever! I used to spend hours upon hours in the arcades at NYNY. Skeeball was my game of choice. Now it’s blackjack. and shopping. and exploring my palate at michelin starred restaurants. :)

London and Paris and Versailles, oh my!

When I go to visit my friend Heidi in London (can’t wait!) we are going to spend a weekend in Paris! We’re taking the chunnel the morning after I get into London and I’m so excited and fortunate to be able to do something like this! Macarons, Chanel, shopping, baguettes, here we come! Butter filled meals and REAL croissants are on the agenda. A picnic near the eiffel tower will need to happen as well as a day trip to Chateau de Versailles (for decor inspiration). I’ve got to brush up on the little french that I know! :)

Can’t wait to shop at Colette, Lafayette and printemps! J’adore Paris!

London is underrated. Spoken while completely delirious.

I love love love London. I will be spending my birthday (and a few more days) in London next month and am beyond excited!!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a birthday outside of California. One thing I MUST do on my actual birthday is afternoon tea. I have two reservations booked and I am trying to decide which one to honor. One is award winning and classic (The Langham), the other is in a cute boutique hotel (The Berkeley) and has a fashionista’s tea. Complete with “name brand” food. I also plan on riding the London Eye for the first time and spending lots of time inside Liberty and Topshop. Also can’t wait to try some great restaurants out there. Must consult goop.com for suggestions! Let the excitement begin!

style.

I love layers (but they hate me due to the current humidity and heat), coats/cardigans (same situation), skirts & matching blouses (WHO has time to mix & match in the AM? Not this girl.). I think I need someone to come and lay out my clothes for me every morning. These are some lovely outfits that will be my inspiration on my next shopping trip.

NEED: flowy tops, skirts (love the lace ones! love anything lace..), layering necklaces (but i’m allergic to non precious metals! :( ), versatile tops, anything CLASSIC.

i love the classic outfits in #3, 6, &  7 – feel like they can be worn in 10 years and still look current.
