the night we walked home at 4 AM.

We were on a mission to go to Club Silencio, a new Mulholland Drive inspired club in Paris. However, we didn’t realize it wasn’t easy to find. Instead we went to Social Club, which is at the same address as Club Silencio, thereby fully confusing anyone trying to get in. Fine David, we’ll have to try again next time. And have a driver, since apparently taxis don’t drive around this area late at night. We ended up wandering home, hoping we were going in the right direction. A very nice taxi driver told us we were around the corner once we happily jumped into his cab 2 blocks away from our apartment.

Eiffel Tower, finally!

I had never been up La Tour Eiffel until this trip to Paris. It was on my list of must-dos, and after what felt like an eternity in line, we made it to the top! We took the elevator (the stairs are just crazy and I am a little nervous with heights since I tend to fall…a lot.). The views were breathtaking. Definitely worth the wait.

parissss!

Paris was wonderful. Due to some bad news I received immediately upon arrival to London I was a LITTLE out of it for the duration of this weekend trip, but all in all a good time was had. One of my favorite places that we went (and attempted to go on our last day which was a Monday and they were closed :( ) was Coutume Cafe. It was recommended by Stylist Magazine’s Foodie’s Guide to Paris. They have delicious coffee (I had the gorgeous latte below!) and they even have a NYC ex-pat as the barista. Loved it, love the set up, decor and atmosphere.

The little side street it is located on had some cute little shops and a movie theater.
