Whiskey Review – Hooker’s House Bourbon

IMG_6625I’m lucky to have a job where it’s not “totally” looked down upon and sometimes encouraged to drink at work. Gotta love the music biz.

During holiday season we like to have eggnog and apple cider. Since moving to Culver City I found the cutest liquor store Bar & Garden – where I picked up a tiny bottle of Hooker’s House Bourbon – Cohabitation 7/21. I already had some Trader Joe’s apple cider back at the office that I knew would pair well with a stiff Bourbon.

This stuff is “Sonoma Style American Bourbon” – which means that it is aged like wine in American and French Oak Barrels. It gives it a nice oaky flavor. It warmed me up perfectly as my office has reached arctic temperatures.
